I was very excited about after Christmas sales and thought of looking for great deals on designer purses. To be honest, overall this year the after Christmas sales were real ones. The prices on name brands had really been slashed and finding good deals in the malls or outlets was not very hard. Designer purses however are another story.

There were not any big sales on designer purses in the mall. In outlets the best sales I could find for designer purses were Coach, Juicy Couture and Kate Spade. The clearance items were additional 50% off. I found the really “in” patchwork design Coach big hobo in pink tones that originally was $400, now selling for $140 and in mint condition too.

Juicy Couture designer purses were also on sale at the outlet. The trademark pink and grey velour purses of medium sizes could be bought at $70.00. Kate Spade had a huge sale going on with extra 40% off on already reduced designer purses. It looked like a fish market in the shops with all the ladies buying designer purses as if there will be no tomorrow.

Thinking that outlet has really good prices, I decided to try my luck in the luxury wing of Lenox mall. Oh my, was that a mistake or what. Looking at Burberry, LouisVuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, Hermes and Chanel in person was awe inspiring but no sales and all at regular prices was like a crash down. Still looking and holding these designer purses always makes me feel celebrity like.

So in conclusion my designer purses shopping can be given a B+. You can still get great deals on both the authentic designer purses and replica handbags online.
